The Hamsa is a symbol widely known as a symbol protection. Also known as the Hand of Fatima after the daughter of the prophet Muhammad, the Hand of Mary, the Hand of Miriam and the Hand of the Goddess. Very symbol is commonly seen throughout Muslim and Jewish culture as protection against the evil eye.
This original art was painstakingly painted with intricate patterns throughout, embellished with gold leaf, textured background and hand pour resin for glass like finish.
There is an Om right at the bottom of the piece, seemingly suspended in the artwork. The word Om is defined by Hindu scripture as being the primordial sound of creation. It is the original vibration of the universe. From this first vibration, all other vibrations are able to manifest.
